How do you use FreshPaper?
Simply place one small sheet into an open fridge drawer, carton, bag or container filled with produce. It is not intended for use in air-tight containers or in water.
How long does produce last for?
The average shelf-life of fruit and vegetables at room temperature is 1 to 2 days. By using FreshPaper, you can extend the life of your fresh produce by 4 to 5 days at room temperature and 5 to 7 days if refrigerated. You don’t have to wrap items individually, but if you are storing lots of very perishable items, simply toss in an extra sheet.
How long do the sheets last for?
Once in use, the sheets stay active for up to a month, or until their naturally delicious sweet and spicy scent fades. The sheets can last up to two years in its original packaging, so be sure to keep the packet closed at all times.
What kinds of produce does FreshPaper work with?
FreshPaper works with most fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs – from berries to leafy greens to delicate herbs!
Will FreshPaper save my produce that has started to spoil?
Because FreshPaper does not contain any harsh chemicals, it will not be able to save produce that’s already begun to go bad so just make sure you use FreshPaper as soon as you unpack your fruit and veg.
What is the smell?
A sweet and spicy note that is built on the fenugreek spice, helichrysum and on pyrazines, giving a toasted caramelise and savoury note all at once. Fenugreek, one of the active ingredients in FreshPaper, is also used in maple syrup flavouring!
